Daily Weigh-In X 2

Yesterday 188.2

Today 189.2

Ah, another weekend of stuffing my face.  *banging head on desk*  I’ve gotta find something else to do on the weekend that doesn’t involve me eating.

Can you figure out “why” your eating on the weekends? Boredom maybe? I say this so often it’s probably getting annoying to hear on this site by now, but KEEP A JOURNAL. If you write it down, it’s harder to ignore the calories coming in and calories burned if it’s right there in black and white. Has saved my @ss many a time over the last few weeks. Use your journal to write about how you feel too. I even use mine to write down motivating stuff I read or hear. It’s really pretty cool to go back and look at sometimes, kind of entertaining in a way… :)

    Hugs,

I keep a journal, but only for my calories. Maybe I need to start the “feeling” thing too?

I know how frustrating that is. Hang in there! Your still making progress!!

I use a journal too - the same one for food and exercise. That way, I know exactly how much time I have to spend on cardio to burn off the calories.

If you know that weekends are hard for you, try to plan ahead. Cook meals ahead of time and then eat only them. If you use the weekends to catch up with friends, plan a non-food related activity, or catch up over coffee (a small Starbucks iced latte with skim or 2% is pretty diet friendly) or a bike ride or at the pool (no one wants to eat when they are in a swim suit), or even a movie (you only have to walk past the popcorn stand once).
