I read the article and that isn’t true about not being able to build muscle mass while dieting. You don’t need to eat more calories to build muscle. Muscles are built from resistance and protein. All you have to do is eat healthy and workout and you can see the difference. I have been on this diet since June 12th, I am on 1200 calories or less, usually a lot less. I do body shaping every single night. I am loosing weight and you can feel the muscles forming in my arms, stomach, legs and back. It’s not that you can’t build up muscle, it’s that you are not going to see the results unless you loose the weight. Right now I have rock hard abs under this big blob of fat I call a stomach. My husband felt it the other day and was shocked. I am building muscle now so that when I loose all of the weight I will have a nice body and less likely to have sagging skin. Now, if I was on just the diet and lost all of this weight before attempting to build any muscle then yeah when I achieved my goal I would have a lot of sagging skin. I really don’t want anyone thinking that they can’t work on their bodies now just because they are overweight. This is actually the perfect time to shape your body. It’s not only important that we all loose the weight, but in the end we also need to be healthy. It was really nice of you to share this article but we should all be aware that getting healthy bodies is going to take a lot of work and we shouldn’t put it off until all the fat is gone.
